We're here to help connect students, faculty and staff with marketing tools and resources that drive the Rady Faculty and UM brand forward.
The Rady Faculty of Health Sciences Family Centre is a resource to help students, faculty and staff feel supported – both on and off the campus – as they navigate major life changes, like taking a parental leave or returning to work.
The ISME team is dedicated to promoting and supporting excellence in teaching and scholarship across our medical college.
Career, work, governance - find the resources and supports for your working life, whatever your role within the college.
The breadth of our teaching, training, research, and clinical activities is supported through each of our basic science and clinical departments.
The Rady Faculty and the medical college offer several centres and facilities to enhance your training experience.
The Max Rady College of Medicine is one of five colleges within the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. Both the college and the faculty are named in honour of Winnipeg physician Max Rady [MD/21] and his wife, Rose (Bronfman) Rady.
Max, a Russian Jewish immigrant, put himself through medical school at UM, graduating in 1921. He was known for his compassion, regardless of patients’ ability to pay for care. Rose was an educator and community activist who worked tirelessly for charitable causes.
In 2016, their son, business leader Ernest Rady [BComm/58, LLB/62, LLD/15], and his wife Evelyn Rady [BA/60, BSW/61, MSW/67] made a landmark donation of $30 million to the faculty. This philanthropic gift, the couple said, honours Dr. Max and Rose Rady for making a difference in people’s lives and setting an example of community service.
