Tier Building – Arts, Social Work, University 1

One of the most recognizable buildings on campus, the Tier Building houses classrooms and offices for the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Social Work and University 1 – our flexible first-year program for new students.

First Year Centre – University 1

The First Year Centre provides advice, support and orientation activities to all new UM students. Academic advisors here can answer your questions about course registration, tutoring support, important deadlines, getting involved and more.

Tier Building – Lecture theatre

Average class sizes at UM are approximately 50-100 students. The Tier Building features several commonly used theatres and classrooms in line with this average. Classroom sizes across all programs range from 20-seat classrooms to 300-seat lecture theatres.
