Groups and clubs

Find your niche on campus. Join clubs to meet peers, share hobbies and express your passions, from culture to activism. 

Indigenous student leadership

The University of Manitoba Indigenous Students’ Association (UMISA) and the Métis University Students’ Association (MUSA) work together to support students in a holistic and traditional way.

Student peer mentoring programs

Connect with other students for support as you navigate university life and studies. These trained upper-year students will help you find the resources, programs and services you need to succeed. 

Colleges

Experience a close-knit community in one of UM’s four colleges. Some offer private residences and numerous award opportunities, including over $150,000 in scholarships. 

Spiritual care

Explore life’s deeper meanings with the Spiritual Care and Multi-Faith Centre. All students, regardless of belief, receive support in navigating the highs and lows of university. 

Sport and recreation

Cheer on the Bisons and join in the fun with UM Recreation Services. Connect with others, relieve stress and stay active.

Opportunities to grow

Develop new skills outside the classroom through leadership programs that will enhance your cultural awareness and build your confidence. Join a mentoring program to get help from peers and professionals with the academic, personal and professional challenges of university and post-university life.
