Migizii Agamik – Bald Eagle Lodge

Migizii Agamik – which translates from Anishinaabe to English as Bald Eagle Lodge – serves as the centre of the Indigenous community on campus and is home to the Indigenous Student Centre and the UM Access Program.

Every aspect of Migizii Agamik has been designed to celebrate Indigenous cultures and incorporate the Traditional Teachings of Indigenous Peoples. Students can access amenities including a computer lab, study lounge and kitchen or meet with Elders-in-Residence. 

Migizii Agamik Circle Room

The Circle Room is used for ceremonies, meetings and classes that require a sacred, collaborative space. Migizii Agamik is a smudge-friendly building.
