Fletcher Argue Building – Arts
Home of the Faculty of Arts, the Fletcher Argue Building – named for a former UM English professor and World War I veteran – features a wide variety of large and small classrooms for students studying in the humanities and social sciences.
Lecture theatre
The Fletcher Argue theatres host larger Faculty of Arts classes in popular subjects. Areas of study within Arts include psychology, history, Indigenous studies, English literature, film, political studies, criminology and more.
Faculty of Arts Student Services
Arts students can stop by the Student Services office to chat with an advisor for help with degree planning, declarations, program changes and other resources.
Faculty of Arts Language Centre
Located in the nearby Isbister Building, the Language Centre supports language learning at all levels. Students can access technology and facilities for language programs, study abroad resources, tutoring services and more.
Arts Student Body Lounge
The Arts Student Body Council serves on university committees, runs programming and events, and provides spaces like this lounge for Arts students to relax, socialize and study.
