    The revised Applied Management program

    With Applied Management, you will work on your management, team leadership, communications and industry skills. To earn your UM certificate, you will complete three core courses and one set of electives. It all begins with a strong foundation of core courses including an introduction to Canadian business management, principles of team leadership and communication in business.

    Pick your set of electives. Choose to focus your studies on Customer Service, Leadership Development, or Management by choosing the set of association electives that’s right for you. Or, if you work for Manitoba Hydro or Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, contact your supervisor to find out more about their electives offered to employees only.

Program details

This program is for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Information for international students who wish to study with us can be found at Intensive Program Packages.

Credential: Earn a University of Manitoba Certificate in Applied Management.

Fees: $1,935 plus $100 non-refundable application fee and partner specific electives

Expected duration: 1 to 6 years, part-time

Admission requirements: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, or mature student status.  If primary language is not English, proof of English proficiency is required.
