Support experiential learning (EL) across the institution
- Advance all forms of curricular and co-curricular experiential learning opportunities
- Build EL capacity on and off campus
Support reconciliation efforts and equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives at UM
- Encourage ongoing staff training and professional development
- Meaningfully incorporate Indigenous knowledge and teachings into curriculum and programming
- Work in good ways with Indigenous students, colleagues and communities
On-going strategic planning
- Leverage strengths and opportunities created by recent re-organization and newly created units to align staff and resources to meet strategic priorities
- Collaborate with faculty and administrative partners to support the student experience
- Explore ways to maximize available space and explore options for additional space to improve student experience
