Wendy is originally from Sioux Valley, a Dakota community in southern Manitoba. Wendy’s interests have consistently been geared toward issues related to Aboriginal people and their lives in Canada.
Wendy has made a number of very important contributions to Robson Hall over her long and distinguished career at Robson Hall. She first joined the faculty in the fall of 1991 and has been a dedicated and skilled teacher, teaching a number of important courses on our curriculum including property law, constitutional law, and aboriginal law.
Wendy has also been instrumental in providing academic support to students. She developed and became the Director of the “Academic Support Program”. Originally, the mandate of this program was to provide Indigenous students with the academic and emotional supports they required. Wendy eventually broadened this program, to also support non-Indigenous students who were struggling.
