Application required Teknion/Global (IDCF) Fellowship

This fellowship shall be offered to graduate students who:
- are a graduate of Interior Design from a university or college accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), or equivalent, if the degree / diploma was taken outside Canada or the United States
- are registered in the Post-Professional Masters of Interior Design Program at the University of Manitoba, or have been accepted into a Ph.D. Program at the University of Manitoba, where the focus of research is Interior Design
- have an outstanding record of academic achievement (minimum degree grade point average of 3.5)
- demonstrate potential for innovative research in Interior Design
Applications for the IDCF/Teknion Fellowship should:
- will be no longer than 2 pages and include an abstract for the research topic, to describe it’s purpose and intended benefits for Interior Design
- briefly describe the academic framework for the work that references substantial academic texts and concepts, that includes a paragraph explaining your research methods and processes, including ethics approvals, as required
- explain how you will use the funds to advance the research. This may include travel - for case studies or to conduct interviews within a provided a timeline outlining the stages and projected completion date
- include a CV that helps the committee evaluate the candidate’s capacity to undertake the research
