They’re available Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. UM uses your UM email (@mymanitoba.ca) for official communication, including messages from instructors, departments, advisors, etc. Check it regularly for vital info like deadlines and competition dates.
Rent a locker or two
At Welcome Day, students can rent one ARTlab materials locker and one tunnel-level coat locker. Extra lockers might open up later based on availability. Renting a locker costs $10.00 for Fall and Winter Terms (September - April). Lockers must be emptied by the Winter Term’s end. Failure to do so will result in a $25.00 fee and an Aurora account hold.
After Welcome Day lockers can be rented at the School of Art General Office, 313 ARTlab, University of Manitoba.
Check-in with Academic Advising
Our Student Advisors offer guidance on program options, course selection, transfers, and registration. They can also connect you to academic support, university resources, and community organizations when necessary.
Add money to your Print Account
First-year and returning Students are required to pay the initial $20 printing fee at 346 ARTlab (large format printing room). This will cover all printing up to $20 for the Fall and Winter terms (September to April), expiring on April 30th. If a student exhausts their $20 printing credits during either of the terms, they can purchase more credit in multiples of $5. Keep in mind all credits will expire on April 30th, and accounts zeroed.
