International Centre

The International Centre (IC) is the institutional hub for international student support and global engagement at the University of Manitoba. We provide integrated services to international students from over 122 countries and drive UM’s commitment to global citizenship, intercultural competency, and international mobility for all students.

Each year, the International Centre supports international students with immigration and transition advising, welcomes thousands through orientation, engagement and intercultural activities, provides intensive Academic English language instruction, awards scholarships and mobility funding, and coordinates both inbound and outbound student exchange programs.

International Centre

  • Fanny Levy, Executive Director

    Fanny joined the University of Manitoba in May 2022. As Executive Director of the International Centre, she oversees programs and services that support international students, including orientation, advising, and English language instruction, and student mobility for all UM students. Before coming to UM, Fanny spent nearly 20 years in senior leadership roles with the Province of Manitoba. A lawyer by training, she enjoys taking on new challenges, managing complex portfolios, and driving strategic initiatives.
