    PIKE-Net offers mentorship, supports and research opportunities for students interested in Indigenous health research, including summer research internships, graduate fellowships and workshops to support research development.

Who we are

The Manitoba NEIHR is a collective of four universities:

It is housed at Ongomiizwin Research at the University of Manitoba and builds on 20+ years of Indigenous health research collaboration at UM. Our work is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) under the leadership of the Institute of Indigenous Peoples’ Health and the Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health.
