Research achievements

Linda Diffey's program of research focuses on understanding the experiences of neurodiverse Indigenous learners in post-secondary health education environments and the implications for educational programming design and related supports.

She is the nominated Principal Investigator for the Manitoba Network Environment for Indigenous Health Research (MB NEIHR), a CIHR-supported national network of centres that focus on strengthening Indigenous research capacity, training and mentoring, and supporting community-based health research that reflects the priorities and values of First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities.

Other areas of interest include examining systemic colonial oppression within health-related institutions and the application of Indigenous resurgence as a theoretical foundation within Indigenous research methodology.
