Offering the largest variety of science programs in Manitoba, as well as co-op and mentoring opportunities, the Faculty of Science is dedicated to teaching excellence and world-changing research. Located on the north side of campus, the Science complex includes buildings and facilities for biological sciences, chemistry, microbiology and physics.

Robson Hall, home to the Faculty of Law, is named after a leading Manitoba Chief Justice and features a collection of fine art in its hallways and classrooms. Several spaces for law students can be found here, including classrooms, student services offices and the E.K. Williams Law Library.

One of the largest recreation facilities on campus, Max Bell Centre includes the James Daly Fieldhouse and the Wayne Fleming Arena. Students in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management also conduct research here.

Home to the Faculty of Architecture and the undergraduate Environmental Design program, the Russell Building is named after the faculty’s first dean and features classrooms and studio space for students studying architecture, interior environments and landscape and urbanism.

This 70,000 square-foot facility is home to the Bisons basketball and volleyball teams and serves as the main venue for UM convocation. Able to be converted into three international-size basketball and volleyball courts, IGAC also hosts national championships, concerts and trade shows.

A state-of-the-art community stadium, Princess Auto Stadium is home to Bisons Football as well as the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. A venue for major university and community events, Princess Auto Stadium hosts concerts and festivals in addition to major sporting events such as the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the NHL Heritage Classic.

Named for the UM’s chief librarian from 1937-1960, Dafoe Library is the largest library on campus and serves the research needs of students across a variety of programs. Throughout its three floors you will find computer labs, group study rooms, services such as writing tutors, and Archives and Special Collections.

Home of the Faculty of Arts, the Fletcher Argue Building – named for a former UM English professor and World War I veteran – features a wide variety of large and small classrooms for students studying in the humanities and social sciences.

The Faculty of Education is home to a number of teaching and learning facilities, as well as individual and group study spaces for future educators. Several of the rooms in this building have been named or dedicated in honour of leading Manitoban educators.

Home of the Asper School of Business, Drake Centre is anchored by a beautiful central atrium and features classrooms and facilities for students studying accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and other business programs.
