Panorama
Panorama automatically improves the accessibility of digital media and course content. Panorama brings market-leading Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities into the digital accessibility process.

- Panorama checks course materials for accessibility
- Offers an accessibility rating for course materials and ways to improve accessibility
- Offers alternative formats for course materials including including accessible PDF, high contrast, text to speech, braille and audio files
- Vetted by the Access and Privacy Office and Information Security and Compliance
- Rightsholder retains ownership of created and uploaded content
Accessing Panorama
There are two ways to access Panorama—through the Panorama portal and through UM Learn.
Portal
- Go to umanitoba.panorama.yuja.com
- Click Login Using SSO Authentication
- Log in with your UM email and password
UM Learn (for instructors and students)
To use Panorama through UM Learn, you need to install the Panorama browser extension:
- Log in to UMLearn.ca
- Go to your course
- In the top menu, click Integrations and select Panorama from the drop-down menu
In the left-hand menu, go to Configuration, User Set up and click on install the Panorama browser extension. This will take you to the Chrome store where you can add the browser extension. You can then use Panorama in UMLearn.
