Biography

Nausheen holds a master's in science of Nursing degree with a major in Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights from Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery, Karachi, Pakistan. She brings with her more than two decades of experience in nursing practice, education, and research. Prior to joining the Centre, she served her alma mater as faculty and apart from teaching, she assumed various administrative roles in leading initiatives related to curriculum development & delivery, quality assurance, and implementation & integration of blended learning approaches in adult teaching & learning. She was well known among colleagues and students for her engaging teaching skills and received an Outstanding Teacher Award four times in her entire teaching career.

She is an ardent advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights and has an in-depth professional & voluntary experience of working with children, adolescents, women, teachers, students, healthcare professionals, social & community workers, and policy makers to raise awareness about this very topic.
