Digital storytelling practices in museums in Germany. The use of fictional and non-fictional personal stories to enhance emotions, identification and understanding and explore different digital strategies and modes of bringing these stories into the museums’ exhibition designs.

Analyzing the major themes present in popular German coming of age texts of the 21st century. Examining themes of gender and sexuality within the protagonists and their journeys to adulthood, with consideration to societal themes present in the background such as migration, sexism and finding their place in the world.
