Academic advisors are available to assist students with program planning, course selection, university policies and regulations, registration issues, and financial aid and awards.

  • Appointments

    Appointments with advisors can be made by phone or email. In-person appointments are currently unavailable.

    Appointments must be scheduled during office hours.

    Office Hours:
    Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Prior to your appointment

    1. Review the Academic Calendar and social work website prior to your meeting.
    2. Prepare your questions beforehand.
    3. Please provide the advisor with as much information as possible regarding your situation. 

  • Virtual appointments
    Virtual appointments are available for potential and current students of the Distance Delivery BSW Program. Current students can book appointments through UMLearn, and prospective students can contact an advisor directly to book a virtual meeting.
