Undergraduate programs

The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program gives students the tools to help families, individuals and communities, diving into social issues such as poverty, unemployment, domestic violence, and mental health. Graduates of the BSW program go on to work in a number of areas including community development, disability services, corrections and child welfare.

Exciting new program

The Faculty of Social Work is excited to announce a new curriculum for the Bachelor of Social Work program that was approved by UM Senate in April of 2022. Implementation of the new curriculum will begin in Fall of 2023 and new admission criteria will now be in place to accompany the new program changes. Learn more about the new program.
