I studied in Wuhan University, China, and started teaching Chinese as a second language to international students there. In 2006, I went to study Second Language Acquisition in the Applied Linguistics area in the University of Iowa, USA. After graduation, I've worked in the Asian Studies Program in the Faculty of Arts, University of Manitoba, Canada, since 2009.
