What we offer

We are proud to have established Canada’s first graduate-level physician assistant (PA) educational program, along with a shadowing program for students preparing to enter the profession. Our leadership in the field was instrumental in the creation of subsequent master’s level PA programs in other provinces.

Our story

As early leaders in the field and through continued program growth, the University has helped advance physician assistant education, advocacy and regulation to strengthen Manitoba’s health-care system.
