Join us for an exciting opportunity to advance your career in gynecologic surgery! Starting July 1, 2025, we offer one fellowship position each academic year for qualified applicants. This one-year program can be tailored to your individual needs through a competency-based model that emphasizes graduated independence. Take the next step in your professional journey with us!

Extensive hands-on training

Prepare to immerse yourself in a comprehensive training experience! As a fellow, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in managing complex conditions such as advanced-stage endometriosis, tubo-ovarian abscesses, complex myomectomies, and more. You will also learn to address pelvic pain and central sensitization, ensuring that you provide holistic care that goes beyond surgical needs. Our program is designed to equip you with the skills necessary to excel in this dynamic field.

Diverse training environments

Our Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Fellowship is based at the St. Boniface Hospital Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Clinic, providing you with exposure to a variety of clinical settings. You will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned university and private practice MIGS subspecialists, enhancing your learning experience and broadening your professional network.

Admission and application requirements

Eligibility requirements

To apply, you must:

  • Complete a Canadian RCPSC residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Be eligible for an independent, unrestricted license to practice gynecology with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM).

Documentation needed

Before starting the program, you must provide:

  • Proof of residency completion.
  • RCPSC certification in obstetrics and gynecology.

International applicants
