UM Libraries is pleased to offer select services to ICM students.
What you can do
Your UMNetID is used to access these library services:
- login to secure Wi-Fi on campus
- login to library computers
- use library printing, scanning, photocopying
- access electronic resources while on campus
Your UMNetID is different than your ICM portal login.
You must claim your UMNetID before you can use it to access Libraries services.
Update your library account
To begin using your library account, you need to add your ICM email address and Winnipeg residential address.
Your ICM student card is your library card. As an ICM student, you can borrow material for free from the UM Libraries.
Borrow library materials
Borrowing privileges
- checkout up to 20 regular items, books for 30 days and journals for 1 week
- checkout up to 4 reserved items
- request up to 25 items
- renew up to 3 times
Access electronic resources
ICM students may access all electronic resources while visiting a UM library and from a Library computer or from anywhere on campus.
Access to two research databases is available through the ICM Student Portal:
- EBSCO Academic Search Complete
- Proquest Research Library
Print, scan, photocopy
Printing and scanning is available in all open libraries.
Photocopying is available in:
- Eckhardt Gramatté Music Library
- Elizabeth Dafoe Library
- Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library
