International College of Manitoba students
UM Libraries offers select services to ICM students.
What you can do
Your UMNetID is used to access these library services:
- login to secure Wi-Fi on campus
- login to library computers
- use library printing, scanning, photocopying
- access electronic resources while on campus
Your UMNetID is different than your ICM portal login.
You must claim your UMNetID before you can use it to access Libraries services.
Logging into your library account
- Select the University of Manitoba Email Address option.
- Enter your UMNetID followed by @umanitoba.ca into this field, and the same password you use for Wi-Fi and computer access.
This will allow you to log into your library account.
Update your library account
To begin using your library account, you need to add your ICM email address and Winnipeg residential address.
Your ICM student card is your library card. As an ICM student, you can borrow material for free from the UM Libraries.

Borrow library materials
Borrowing privileges
ICM students have the same borrowing privileges as UM students.
Access electronic resources
ICM students have full access to electronic resources on campus and remotely.
Print, scan, photocopy
Printing and scanning is available in all open libraries.
Photocopying is available in:
- Eckhardt Gramatté Music Library
- Elizabeth Dafoe Library
- Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library
