Advisory committee

The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) supports the Vice-Provost of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences by providing guidance on research-related matters.

Responsibilities

The committee’s responsibilities include:

  • Policy development: Creating and reviewing research policies within the Faculty and advising on external policies.
  • Funding: Proposing ways to increase research funding.
  • Education & capacity: Developing strategies to improve research education and capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Designing strategies to enhance research collaborations within and outside the Faculty.
  • Evaluation: Assigning members to subcommittees to evaluate and prioritize research proposals.
  • Reporting: Regularly updating activities and making recommendations to relevant bodies.
  • Communication: Sharing research activities and opportunities among the Colleges of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences.
