Rent your gown
All graduates must order and wear Academic Regalia (cap and gown) in order to attend the graduation ceremony.
Deadline for ordering gowns: October 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. (CST)

- Name
- Student number
- Height
- Payment of $27.25 plus tax
Your order will include:
- Gown rental
- Souvenir cap and tassel

Your parchment
Parchments will be available for pickup in the Student Services offices from October 24 to November 7. After that date, parchments will be mailed through Canada Post to the address on your student record in Aurora.

Confirm your mailing address
Please ensure we have your correct mailing address by September 29. Parchments not picked up will be delivered to Canada Post for distribution on September 29. We will send any document via standard mail to an international address at no extra charge.

Unclaimed parchments
The University of Manitoba will hold unclaimed parchments for a maximum of 12 months after graduation, including those returned to us as undeliverable. We will destroy any unclaimed parchments after 12 months.

Replacement parchments
If you do not receive your parchment, it is your responsibility to follow up with Extended Education office within this 12-month period. Any requests for your parchment after this time will be processed as a Request for Replacement Parchment, at the cost of $77.00 (subject to change).
