Where We First Stand Transition Summer Camp is a week-long stay on campus, where first-year students become familiar with the services, supports and Indigenous community before starting classes in September.

As a school counsellor, teacher, or educator, you play a vital role in preparing high school students for their future. The University of Manitoba is dedicated to providing you with the information you need to help your students transition from high school to university.

We assess transfer credit after we have received your application, which includes your transcripts and course outlines. Each course is assessed by the applicable unit on campus and assigned a UM equivalent, if one exists. In some cases where an equivalent does not exist, you may receive general (unallocated) credit.

All applicants are required to meet the University of Manitoba's approved English Proficiency Standards, either through an approved waiver or the successful completion of an approved English proficiency test.
