The Temporomandibular Specialty Clinic provides assessment and treatment for patients with pain associated with head and neck muscles and temporomandibular joints. Treatment in this clinic is provided by undergraduate dental students under the direct supervision of certified dentists who are professors at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry.

To receive services from the Temporomandibular Specialty Clinic, you must be an active patient in the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry.

Visiting the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry is a great way get the dental care you need at a more affordable price. Our fees are significantly lower than the various specialties listed in the Manitoba Dental Association Fee Guide, often by as much as 50 per cent.
Payment is expected after each appointment. We accept cash, direct debit, credit cards. If you have dental insurance coverage, our clinic staff will process the dental insurance forms on your behalf and you will will be reimbursed by your dental insurance.
For patients undergoing extensive treatment over a period of time, such as orthodontic or prosthodontic care, payment does not have to be made all at once. Talk to us about scheduling payments throughout your treatment. Please note that full payment is required by the time treatment is complete.
Fee are dependent on the procedure performed and rates at the College are subject to change. All costs will be discussed before services are performed, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss options.
Our patients have access to general dental services provided by dental students in training. We offer affordable dental care to the public and welcome new patients.
