Dr. Sam Borden Periodontology Specialty Clinic

The Periodontology Clinic is a state of the art facility where a wide range of periodontal services are offered. These include cleanings (including laser treatment), gum grafts, dental implants, extraction of teeth and bone grafts, as well as sinus grafts.

This is a specialist teaching clinic, where dentists train to become periodontists under the supervision of experienced full time and part-time faculty.

How to become a patient

We accept patients on a referral basis only.

Please ask your dentist or physician to complete the referral form and return it to the clinic.

Fees and payment

  • Costs

    Visiting the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry is a great way get the dental care you need at a more affordable price. Our fees are significantly lower than the various specialties listed in the Manitoba Dental Association Fee Guide, often by as much as 50 per cent.  

  • Payment for services

    Payment is expected after each appointment. We accept cash, direct debit, credit cards. If you have dental insurance coverage, our clinic staff will process the dental insurance forms on your behalf and you will will be reimbursed by your dental insurance.

     

  • Scheduled payments

    For patients undergoing extensive treatment over a period of time, such as orthodontic or prosthodontic care, payment does not have to be made all at once. Talk to us about scheduling payments throughout your treatment. Please note that full payment is required by the time treatment is complete.

Fee are dependent on the procedure performed and rates at the College are subject to change. All costs will be discussed before services are performed, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss options.
