The Prosthodontic Specialty Clinic provides advanced restorative, esthetic and implant care to their patients. Patients treated in the Graduate Prosthodontic Program are treated by graduated dentists. They have all completed a minimum of four years of general dentistry training and many have practiced for several years before coming to take our program. The goal of the program is to train dentists to provide the most optimal advanced care for patients.
Please book a screening appointment by calling the clinic at 204-789-3608.
While it is not required, it is helpful if your dentist or physician makes a referral indicating your particular needs. Any previous x-rays they have on file will be useful at the screening appointment. If available, please ask your health care provider to email x-rays to Prostho.Clinic@umanitoba.ca.
Visiting the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry is a great way get the dental care you need at a more affordable price. Our fees are significantly lower than the various specialties listed in the Manitoba Dental Association Fee Guide, often by as much as 50 per cent.
Payment is expected after each appointment. We accept cash, direct debit, credit cards. If you have dental insurance coverage, our clinic staff will process the dental insurance forms on your behalf and you will be reimbursed by your dental insurance.
For patients undergoing extensive treatment over a period of time, such as orthodontic or prosthodontic care, payment does not have to be made all at once. Talk to us about scheduling payments throughout your treatment. Please note that full payment is required by the time treatment is complete.
Fees are dependent on the procedure performed and rates at the College are subject to change. All costs will be discussed before services are performed, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss options.
