The Prosthodontic Specialty Clinic provides advanced restorative, esthetic and implant care to their patients. Patients treated in the Graduate Prosthodontic Program are treated by graduated dentists. They have all completed a minimum of four years of general dentistry training and many have practiced for several years before coming to take our program. The goal of the program is to train dentists to provide the most optimal advanced care for patients.

Send x-rays
Previous x-rays are useful for the screening appointment. Ask your healthcare provider to email any x-rays to Prostho.Clinic@umanitoba.ca.
Referral
A referral from your dentist or physician outlining your needs isn't required, but it can be helpful. Ask them to complete the referral form.
Visiting the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry is a great way get the dental care you need at a more affordable price. Our fees are significantly lower than the various specialties listed in the Manitoba Dental Association Fee Guide, often by as much as 50 per cent.
Payment is expected after each appointment. We accept cash, direct debit, credit cards. If you have dental insurance coverage, our clinic staff will process the dental insurance forms on your behalf and you will be reimbursed by your dental insurance.
For patients undergoing extensive treatment over a period of time, such as orthodontic or prosthodontic care, payment does not have to be made all at once. Talk to us about scheduling payments throughout your treatment. Please note that full payment is required by the time treatment is complete.
Fees are dependent on the procedure performed and rates at the College are subject to change. All costs will be discussed before services are performed, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss options.
Our patients have access to general dental services provided by dental students in training. We offer affordable dental care to the public and welcome new patients.
