In 1937, the University of Manitoba Department of Commerce welcomed its first class. Renamed in 2000, the Asper School of Business continues a tradition of world class business education with the leadership of Dr. Bruno Silvestre, Dean and CPA Manitoba Chair in Business Leadership. Prior to Dean Silvestre, the Asper School of Business has been led by nine exceptional Deans.
