Biography

I am an Associate Professor of Macroeconomics in the Economics & Econometrics stream of the department. I also serve on the journal's editorial board of Research in Globalization (Elsevier).

My research interests lie in macroeconomics and monetary economics, international finance, time series econometrics, business cycles, and policy analysis emphasizing emerging market economies.

My current research aims to study the sources and mechanisms behind the transmission of short-term aggregate fluctuations and analyze the macroeconomic policy implications that arise from a better understanding of such mechanisms.
