I teach Canadian literature and creative writing, with a particular emphasis on poetry. I've published four poetry books, and edited several critical editions, two of works by Frederick Philip Grove and one of the poetry of Tim Lilburn. Recent articles treat various aspects of Canadian prairie literature and culture, including catalogue essays on work by ceramic artist Victor Cicansky and on the textile art exhibition "Prairie Interlace: Weaving, Modernisms, and the Expanded Frame."
