Jean Trottier
Education
Jean Trottier has a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from the Université de Montréal and a Masters degree in Urban Planning from McGill University.

Research
Professor Trottier teaches and conducts research initiatives in the areas of urban and public space design. He maintains a significant practice in community development. He is Past-Chair of the Winnipeg’s Downtown Urban Design Advisory Committee, of the Editorial Board of Landscapes | Paysages Magazine, and currently serves on the Canadian Landscape Architecture Accreditation Council and the Board of the Council for Canadian Urbanism. He received the CSLA’s Schwabenbauer President's Award in 2022.
