Description:

The church has long held the motto lex orandi, lex credenda, “the law of praying is the law of believing.” In this course entitled “Pastoral Theology” we take this motto seriously by thinking theologically with the liturgical life of the church as a determinative form for the shape of our discipleship. Christians claim that the gospel calls us to a unique way of life centered around the worship of the risen Lord Jesus. In this course, students will learn to articulate the way our worship together forms the Christian social-imaginary that determines our ministry in the world.
