As valuable members of the university community, retirees and those about to retire are supported through the pension plan and various programs at UM.

  • Retired employee benefits

    UM provides health and dental benefits to eligible retired staff members. There are separate eligibility provisions depending on if you are a full-time or part-time retiree and when you retired.

  • Pension

    Information for retirees who are receiving a monthly pension benefit from the University of Manitoba Pension Plan (1993).

  • University of Manitoba Retirees Association

    UMRA acts as a liaison between UM retirees and the University, to encourage and promote a spirit of collegiality among members of the association and organize and promote activities for its members, and to facilitate interaction with other retiree/senior organizations.
