As a resident in the University of Manitoba’s General Surgery program, you can work toward a Master of Science (MSc) degree alongside your residency. With over 35 full-time and numerous part-time faculty members, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of surgical disciplines, from general surgery to specialized fields. This hands-on approach prepares you to confidently step into any surgical environment, be it academic, community, or a subspecialty fellowship in Canada or the U.S.
