With a catchment area of over two million people, you’ll be exposed to over 1,100 adult cardiac bypass surgeries per year in the dedicated 15-bed Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Winnipeg’s prestigious St. Boniface Hospital—one of the larger cardiac surgery centres in Canada.
Inter-university agreement with the University of Alberta
Training for cardiac transplantation and pediatric cardiac surgery is provided at the University of Alberta in Edmonton through a Royal College approved affiliation agreement.
