Residents of this program will have exposure to high volume endoscopy, anorectal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and major oncology cases including advanced laparoscopic pelvic surgery and TEM.

Admission and application requirements

Application deadline: March 15

Residents are invited to submit applications to the University of Manitoba Colorectal Surgery Residency Program. Applicants must be in their fourth year of training in an accredited Canadian General Surgery Residency Program or have obtained their Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada General Surgery certification.

The Colorectal Subspecialty program will accept applications from individuals who are Canadian citizens and graduates from Canadian General Surgery Resident Programs.

At this time, we are not accepting applications from VISA trainees or International Surgical Trainees.

  • Three reference letters
