Flexible program options

The program offers flexible pathways to tailor your training to your career goals. You can choose to enroll in a combined Pediatric Infectious Disease and Medical Microbiology fellowship or pursue a Pediatric ID fellowship alongside a PhD through the University of Manitoba Clinical Investigator Program.

Clinical and research opportunities

Trainees have the chance to dive into a range of clinical and research projects, including ongoing overseas initiatives. Research opportunities span various fields such as clinical epidemiology and basic science, providing a broad platform for exploration and discovery.

Teach while you learn

As part of your training, you'll be integrated with Adult Infectious Disease, Medical Microbiology, and Clinical Microbiology programs. This includes joint academic rounds and teaching sessions, with opportunities to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supported by training in educational techniques.
