Social media security

Social media has become a haven for hackers because they encourage you to share your personal information. These sites are designed to allow you to interact and share as easily as possible. Still, if you're not careful, their use can leave you vulnerable to identity theft, viruses, malware, privacy violations and more.

Computer accounts - Usage agreement

This usage agreement defines the responsibilities and obligations for all users of all computer systems and networks owned and operated by the University.

Graduating students and Microsoft 365

If you have been using Microsoft 365 as a student at UM, you may have downloaded Office apps like Word and Excel to your own computer or devices, or you may be using OneDrive to store files online. You were able to do this because the university purchased licenses for students and staff at the university to use it all for free. When you graduate and leave the university, your access to everything changes.

Welcome to Microsoft 365
