General Academic Regulations

Students registered in General Studies are current students registered with the University of Manitoba. Therefore, the University of Manitoba General Academic Regulations apply.

Extended Education Academic Regulations

The Division of Extended Education has regulations and requirements, published below, that apply specifically to its students that are registered in General Studies with Extended Education. Students are obligated to be familiar with all regulations governing their continued standing in General Studies. For questions or clarifications, please consult a Student Advisor. Admissions and registration information is found on the Extended Education website.

Registration Status in General Studies

Students enrolled in General Studies are students of the University of Manitoba, taking University credit courses without being enrolled in a degree program.

The different categories for General Studies students are:

  • Special Students;
  • Auditing Students;
  • Senior Students; and
  • Visiting Students.

Transcripts and Records

Transcripts

For a fee, official transcripts can be ordered by the student online through Aurora. If the student has any questions respecting how to order a transcript, the student can contact a Student Advisor, Extended Education.

Records

The Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Services retains student records.
