Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- analyse individual job behaviour by applying theories of personality attributes and values
- evaluate how workplace perceptions, emotions, attitudes, and stress affect workplace behaviour and productivity
- propose key factors that contribute to the failure and the success of organizational change initiatives
- discuss the nature of leadership, influence, power, and politics within public sector organizations
- examine how the principles and theories of motivation impact behaviour and productivity
- analyse decision-making and conflict management strategies
- describe the relationship between organizational structure and organizational culture and its impact on operating success
- analyse how individuals communicate and function in groups, and how groups and teams accomplish tasks within public sector environments
