Sol Chu

Sol is the team lead for Learning Technologies and Solutions at The Centre. His portfolio is comprised of learning technologies that include, but are not limited to:

• UM Learn (the U of M’s Learning Management System)
• iClicker (classroom polling solution)
• Cisco Webex (LMS-integrated videoconferencing solution)

Through Sol’s leadership and on-going partnerships with other units and departments, his team provides support, consultation, and mentorship on the use of technologies to support teaching and learning and strategic university initiatives, all with a strong emphasis on a positive user experience.

Sol has been with the U of M since 2000 and with The Centre since 2011. Since his first day he has been exclusively supporting the Learning Management System currently known as UM Learn.
