Role

Eric is a learning technologies trainer and administrator at The Centre.  He supports learning technologies through the facilitation of technical workshops at the University, regularly advises faculty through one-on-one consultation sessions, and addresses concerns as they are reported through the service desk.

Eric’s portfolio includes video-conferencing systems (Cisco Webex and Zoom), classroom polling (iClicker) and student rating of instruction (Explorance Blue).

Biography

Eric is an IT professional in the field of software training and systems implementation and managed training, communication, and support for IT projects for more than 15 years in the Asia Pacific region, Australia and Canada. 

Prior to joining The Centre in 2020, Eric has been teaching at Asper School of Business as a sessional instructor since 2016. He was also an instructional designer at Robertson College, where he developed courses for post-secondary students using the Brightspace LMS platform. He also employed at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as training manager and change management consultant for more than 10 years.
