Role
In this new role at The Centre, Janine works with partners throughout the University including faculty, Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship, Offices of Partnerships & Innovation and Experiential Learning, and the broader entrepreneurship community in Manitoba, to support UM students' learning about, through, and for entrepreneurship and innovative thinking.
Biography
Janine is a graduate of the I.H. Asper School of Business, where she earned a double major in Entrepreneurship and International Business. She has worked with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, where she was Director of Provincial Affairs for Manitoba, among other roles. Janine holds a Certificate in Adult Education and worked for 10 years at Red River College Polytechnic, where she taught a variety of courses in business administration and in the Teaching for Learning in Applied Education program (TFL). At RRC Polytech Janine was also the Academic Coordinator for the TFL program and was a frequent contributor to faculty onboarding, professional development and the Prairie Region Great Teacher Seminar.
