Overview and impact
Cyber threats are one of the most significant risks facing businesses today, and leaders play a crucial role in protecting their organization’s reputation and assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating financial risks.

Cybersecurity for Non-Technical Leaders empowers senior executives, managers, and business leaders with the strategic insight and leadership capabilities necessary to oversee cybersecurity risks, ensure governance, and foster organizational resilience in an increasingly digital and threat-prone world.
Designed specifically for leaders without a technical background, this program breaks down cybersecurity concepts and equips participants with the knowledge to make informed decisions that align with business goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and address evolving threats.
This program is structured around six key modules that explore leadership in cybersecurity, strategy and governance, business operations integration, third-party risk, and incident response.
Through interactive learning and a dynamic combination of expert instruction, real-world case studies, group collaboration, and scenario-based exercises, participants will learn how to lead and support cybersecurity initiatives within their organizations. A final capstone tabletop simulation brings together the program’s key learnings so participants can practice their new skills.
At the conclusion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from the I.H. Asper School of Business’ James W. Burns Executive Education Centre.
