- 100% attendance*.
- Active group participation throughout the program.
- Individual contribution in the final group project as well as an active participant in the final group project presentations.
*In emergency situations, a participant may be excused from class and still be eligible for their certificate. However, prior approval must be received from the Executive Director and the absence cannot exceed the equivalent of 1 training day. Requests to miss class will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Time commitment outside of classroom
To ensure participants are able to maximize their in-class experience, the following time commitment outside of the classroom can be expected:
- Four to six hours to review a pre-read package that is provided to participants approximately two to four weeks prior to the start of the program.
- One hour to complete a Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI 360®).
- Additional time as needed in between the program's two modules to collaborate on your final group project/presentation.
Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI-360)
As part of the program, participants are asked to complete a Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI 360®). The LPI 360® draws on your own feedback as well as observations from those who engage with you as a leader most frequently. This exercise creates a powerful assessment that enables you to evaluate your leadership competencies and gain a complete picture of your leadership behaviours. During the program you will be taken through a guided exercise to use these valuable insights to create your personal leadership development plan and further your growth as a leader.
In order to receive a comprehensive feedback report, the confidential Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI 360®) requires participants to complete a questionnaire and have at least six individuals, including your manager, direct reports, coworkers, and others within your organization complete it as well.
