Biography

I am a Roman historian specialising in literary evidence for the Middle and Latin Roman Republic. I have published articles and book chapters on Livy, Plutarch, Onasander, Frontinus and John Buchan. My major project is a commentary on Plutarch's Life of Crassus, but I am also preparing articles on Frontinus, Appian, Plutarch and Roman Decapitaton. My teaching entails a diverse range of courses from Greek and Roman mythology to ancient history to Latin language at the beginner's and advanced levels.
