Biography

Fabiana Li is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Manitoba. Her research and teaching explore the intersections between food, culture, environment, and social justice, with a focus on Latin America. Her work examines conflicts over resource extraction and the production of knowledge in controversies over pollution, water, agriculture, community rights, and corporate accountability.
