Étienne-Marie Lassi is a Professor of French and Francophone studies at the University of Manitoba. His research and teaching interests include French language and francophone literature and cinema. His on-going research projects are in posthumanism, namely the interactions of humans and non-humans in African literature and culture and on the expression of African social imaginaries in literature and popular culture.
